It's pretty evident the main man is fucked off hence the verbal bashing of officials, some dodgy tackling, kicking penalty spots and whatnot.

I'm probabaly inthe minority here but i love it. Ofcourse it's not channelling his frustration/aggression in the correct manner but as a fan watching it shows that he cares for Liverpool Football Club and isn't prepared to just accept a poor refereeing decision, a defeat etc without kicking up fuss. The same applies to Mascherano, he's the same.

torres could take a dump in the middle of the pitch as far as I'm concerned because there is no one near his class in the squad to replace him if he is acting up or in a slump or basically being a dick head.

I love Fernando, but I don't think there's any upside about him spending games sulking and having tantrums. I would much rather he played in the smiling, imperturbable way he did during most of his first season. I guess that's a reflection of the club's fortunes, but still... it's kind of sad that our two best players are such miserable, petulant sods at times.

It's times like this I wish we hadnt have implemented our 'insult the post not the poster' rule.

but anyway, that is a cunt of a post.

He said he loves his passion Jon.

Whats the point in bashing the two best players in our squad who without we would be mid table or lower. As said they could curl a steamer out in the centre circle and that would still contribute more than everyone else. The reason the two of them are acting up is because they are looking round thinking look at this shite around us.

Gerrard has been awful this season by his standards. Of course after all his years of contribution he can feel hard done that Rafa's incredible wastefulness and lack of funding has gutted our team, but his poor form has contributed as well.

Has anyone read the original post? He didn't bash our two best players in this thread and Gerrard wasn't even mentioned. He said he loved Torres's passion.

In the past he has written some pathetic ridiculous Gerrard posts but hasn't here.

Because of the rules, he's basically saying you are one.

IAN RUSH: Fuming Fernando Torres shows how much he cares

FERNANDO TORRES’ performance at Old Trafford attracted as much attention for him kicking the penalty spot as his goal.

While his header was sublime, taken with the confidence of man in form, he showed the darker side of his game when taking a divot just before Wayne Rooney placed the ball.

There were a couple of times, too, when it looked as if his frustrations were going to boil over but the fact he showed his emotions was, in my opinion, no bad thinking – if anything, it showed how much he cares.

Players of his ilk do not want to be just involved in games, they want to win and Torres is desperate to help Liverpool succeed.

For that to happen, he needs to receive more service.

Well said Rushie.

The point is that whilst its good that he's bothered with our shitness, its still scant consolation.

We're still shit.

And if the captain was behaving like a spoilt brat, you'd be saying the same thing wouldn't you.
