Lucas was shit
Suarez handball wasn't intentional.
Robinson and Wisdom were ok. Sturridge will be a hit (as predicted before).
Coates might aswell leave.
Shelvey...a bit hit and miss (as usual).
We were shit.
Spot on.

Have to say very impressed with Sturridge, pace, turns and movement fantastic and to think he has not played for two months makes it even more so, and probably hence a couple of squandered chances.
I thought he looked quite Luis-like a couple of times.

I think those two could rip a few defences new arses in the coming months.

regards

From Footy365.com:

Luis Suarez
Ah, calm yourselves down. Sure, it would've been lovely if Luis Suarez had done what Miroslav Klose did earlier this season and owned up to it being a handball, but the reason you've heard about Klose's action is because it's so rare. It's not particularly fair or realistic to criticise Suarez for not doing the extraordinary and unusual. In any case, it isn't absolutely sure that the handball was deliberate - Suarez jerked his arm back as the ball struck it, suggesting that he was actually trying to get the offending limb out of the way, rather than move towards the ball. Given the small amount of reaction time between his original shot rebounding towards him, one cannot say for certain that this was a deliberate act, and therefore cannot say for certain that (in this case) Suarez is a cheat. Anyway, do you really not already have enough reasons to dislike him?

was coates that bad? gutted to hear. I still have hopes for him. he has everything but needs game time and space to make the odd mistake and learn.

I didn't see the full game but I liked the way Shelvey and Sturrudge linked up well numerous times.

I also enjoyed telling United fans in the pub " that's not handball where he comes from"

He wasn't good but on the other hand he hasn't played for a while so perhaps I was harsh on him (but I have a feeling he won't be good enough).

Guys on RAWK are loving this. The Suarez issue, that is.

That's cos they have something to get all sanctimonious & upright about.

Not to mention a deluded & stupid sense of what 'the Liverpool way' meant when it came to 'fair play' in 'the good old days'.

I just had to have a wee look on redcafe too. I mean how could you resist it?

It's fucking hilarious to be honest. Their arguing with themselves. Most are saying it was intentional of course, although in fairness there's a few saying it wasn't. But the Evra, Keane and Cantona issues are being dragged up again and they're comparing all incidents to Suarez.

They actually have TWO threads on Suarez.

Oh, an they also have threads on RAWK and BlueMoon. I can understand why they hate us so much considering they think RAWK is our typical fan database.

Yeah. They're fucking obsessed with us.

It was clear handball. But the rules of football dictate that there is one person authorised to stop the game and award a free kick. And that person is not Luis Suarez.

Well he certainly is quick enough to let the ref know when he should have whistled for him!!😉
