When was 4th not good enough for CL?
The worry for me is, our form has been ace but we're still 4th behind Man U and Chelsea, who have been nothing more than functional and we haven't really distanced ourselves from Spurs and Arsenal, who have been no great shakes either. If our form wobbles, and theirs picks up, there's only 3 points gap.
That said, maybe we'll just kick on as we have been. Couple of signings in Jan should add impetus (the opposite of last season).
If the team winning the CL (or EL) does not finish in the Top 4 then the PL would have 5 teams in the CL next season. Highly unlikely of course unless it's Arsenal winning the EL this season and failing to finish Top 4.2012 when Spurs finished 4th and Chelsea won the CL. Given the number of english teams still in the competition its got an outside chance of happening again Id say.
The other way to look at it is that we've overtaken Arsenal and Spurs in that time whilst cutting the gap on United and Chelsea, if we continue in this form we'll move ahead of United and maybe Chelsea too. When was 4th not good enough for CL?

We'll draw 2 and lose 2, same resultThe shit part of those stats is our record for the rest of the season.
Does anyone think we can remain undefeated and win 11 while drawing 5?
That would be nearly 30 games unbeaten.
Ask me again once the January transfer window has closed. The shit part of those stats is our record for the rest of the season.
