I notice a few people moaning about why are the goal nets white this year and not red.

The nets were red during the team’s first training session at the new-look Anfield on Thursday night.

Apparently Klopp asked to change the nets at Anfield from red to white in order to make them more visible in the players’ peripheral vision.

With the majority of fans behind both goals wearing red, it was felt that red netting wasn’t as striking to the eye as white.

Wasn't everyone sucking Rodgers Jeb for bringing back a "club tradition" a few years back?

They changed it after they trained at Anfield on Thursday.
Roy Evans felt the same and changed them '95 appaz.

What with the goal bars being white, I would argue that it's better for the periphral vision for the nets to be red and blend in with the crowd and for only the bars to stick out, than having the bars and the net blend in white.

What the fuck are those stupid posts there for in the first place. In King Kennys last season we hit them again and again and again. Should be removed.

This explains why our recent games at White Hart Lane have been such low-scoring affairs, what with all that white behind those white nets.
