Well according to my predictions... ITS SQUEAKY FUCKING BUM TIME!!!

I think it's impossible to guess mate. We're not in the driving seat that's for sure. The only positive I take from it is that the other teams have failed to take advantage of our inadequacies for the last few months. If we can put a rich vein of form in place we have a chance but I still feel 4th is unlikely.

Villa will beat Brum at home and possibly Everton too. I think they are very real contenders for 4th.
City are the favourites.

I think Everton are a tougher team to beat than people are giving them credit for here. They could have a big say in things. Villa/Brum is also a derby which can always go any way.

The FA cup will fuck villa up and hopefully spurs...they'll get giddy and lose silly games.

I know it can go either way... they are just my predictions is all... What I will say is, we are firmly NOT favourites for 4th. Villa usually have a wobble about now, that's all we can hope for.

Man City's bench on Sunday is a huge factor in all of this.
Their squad is fantastic now.

Sundays team & bench...

01 Given
02 Richards (Vieira 64)
03 Bridge (Santa Cruz 32)
05 Zabaleta
19 Lescott
33 Kompany
08 Wright-Phillips (A Johnson 72)
18 Barry
34 De Jong
32 Tevez
39 Bellamy

Substitutes

12 Taylor, 16 Sylvinho, 28 Toure, 07 Ireland, 11 A Johnson, 24 Vieira, 14 Santa Cruz

If we go for it, we stand a chance. Villa seem to have played a lot of games and still have cup interest, Spurs have a difficult run in, City can't win away.
Sit back and hope, it will elude us, go for it, we might grab it. Starts this weekend.

It's impossible to say what will happen, as City can one week beat Chelsea and then lose to Hull.

We are not favourites anymore, as we fucked against Wigan. It's out of our hands, and I find it hard to believe 3 other teams will fuck up in the run in..

I can't see any of Villa and Citeh scrape three wins in a row in the remainings of the Season, they simply don't seem capable of such stable performances and I can't see how the fierce competition for fourth will help them out. There's hopefully a lot of draws to be found in their remaining fixtures.

Spurs has easily got the toughest run-in and I don't think they'll make it.

Can we actually win against United we'd be favourites for fourth actually (as well as we'd deny United valuable points in their hunt for the title.

Absolutely massive game. A mustn't lose.

Villa is probably going to be the main contender having looked at the run-in again but I simply don't think they can handle the pressure.

4th is ours then.

OURS!

Seeing as we can't win 2 games in row or score a goal away, I'm not even going to start being optimistic.

I've already conceded in the fight for 4th, and should we by some miracle get it then it will be a pleasent surprise.

You're bonkers.

Mr V is top of the Predictions League, so - while I do think it's impossible to guess who will win how many points - he's probably right about it going to the wire, with all four teams having a chance.

Corrected fixture list - changes in bold - will require a revision in points forecast.

How horribly ironic would it be if winning a must-win game for the 4th spot would mathematically secure the Scum's 19th title.

Nobody would have guessed a lose away to Wigan or Portsmouth so guessing is plain stupid.

City to win at the bridge?

Nothing about the run in will go normally.

And we have to win all 8 games to get 4th.

Your last sentence directly contradicts your first three. Perhaps you just ran out of intelligence three-quarters of the way through your post?

Bar your last sentence, that's pretty much spot on.

If we miraculously manage to beat Utd and Chelsea I am hoping that Arsenal will take advantage of their easiest run in and win the league.

We have to gain 4 points minimum on 3 teams in 8 games.

if we were chasing 1 or even 2 teams I'd say 6 wins and a draw would do it, but considering all 3 are capable of a good run aswell I think we will need to get very lucky to scrap it and just don't see it happening.

A win at OT would go a long way to changing my mind, but which Liverpool will turn up?

History would say the great Liverpool, but how many times can Rafa's team pull it out of the bag against the big boys.

We are due a beating against Utd.

would people please note that mentioning this is not only a fucking dozy cunt jinxy fucking thing to do but keeping me from sleeping... pack it fucking in and behave yerselves...

As for the run in ours looks quite nice and if Torres is on form i think we have a reasonable shout, defoe being injured is handy also, wolves getting a point was useful as well.... come on Stoke!! Even though its not in our own hands anymore we are the only team out of the 4 there who know what consistency actually fucking means at the business end of a season.... sadly we have been consistently shite this season but.... I'm encouraged by two of our better performances coming in the last week. Torres on form ad a confidence boosting win against the scum would help us over the line.

Why did you only correct the result that went our way and miss the one which didn't? Spurs had a win against Stoke so they're prediction would now be 71 points and 4th.
