The real reason Sanchez didn't start?

Apparently there was a training ground argument and he left halfway through the session, followed by another row in the changing rooms.

Whatever the reason, i'm glad he didn't start.

The contract situation plus his behaviour seem to make it inevitable that he leaves.

I don't see him leaving for another Premier League team though.

Yeah think he will be off to Italy/Spain in the summer. Arsenal would do well to bring a player of anything like his quality in as a replacement.

Agreed. PSG or Juve seem most likely. Glad he didnt start as he made a big difference when he came on in the second half.

Wenger seems to be acting out a bizarre homage to Thatcher's last months in office, with mad decisions mixed up with much-mocked and hopelessly unrealistic defiance. A TV channel should just send John Sergeant to do a post-match interview, so Wenger can shove him out the way and declare his intention to fight on.

It's not much of a show of force to drop him from the starting line up only to bring him on at HT when you're 2-0 down.

He's their best player and everyone knows it.

Wholesale changes at Arsenal over the summer then?
Wenger, Sanchez, Ozil all possibly leaving would considerably weaken them.

Not really. Depends who they replace them with, assuming that does happen.

If just Sanchez leaves, then maybe, but again, they've been pretty consistent in terms of Top 4 finishes for the last 20 years, despite often losing their best players to United or City or Chelsea or Barca.
