I could see how shit we'd lined up in the first minute. If we'd have won I could have told you succinctly why we were lucky. Why it wouldn't work again. Now we got beat it's all so pointless.

I'm better than this defeat. I knew how shit we lined up before they scored. It's all about me.

By the way, this game ended up costing me hundreds of quids because twats didn't show up. But I can't blame them. We're fucking awful. I hope someone stuck some Polonium in the tea. I hope a 767 banks into the main stand tonight. Fuck everything.

Meireles on the right wing and Kuyt on the left. Get to fuck. And when you bring Cole on Gerrard goes right and Cole stays in the middle. I tried to download a sniper app to kill the stupid old cunt with.

I was watching the match with one of my mates and my Dad (a scum fan). When Cole warmed up my mate jokingly commented that Roy would probably put him in the middle when we were crying out for width (skill, passion, etc. etc.). The commentator said that it looked like Cole was going to play in the middle, and my Dad burst out laughing and left the room.

When your own Dad doesn't have the heart to take the piss out of you you know something is wrong.

I agree Krump. I thought we were playing the lineup mooted here, but as soon as I saw the actual team and guessed the formation I thought we'd struggle.
 
The fact that Roy still plays Meireles on the wing is mind boggeling.
No wingers at home to a team we would crush with the right formation.

I'm still angry and upset about last night. If he doesn't get the sack now, we're going to have to fight relegation for most part of 2011.
 
And the fact that we had a decent little spell around the 30-40 minute mark when we shifted Meireles inside was evident too.
 
Don't know about you guys but I'm just waiting for the "Hodgson sacked" thread.
All this out-pour of emotions in several threads is really not interesting at them moment.
It's just depressing.
 
The last time we had so few points after 18 games, we were relegated.

If Roy stays in charge, I'm have to say I am a bit worried that we can go down..

The only relatively bright spot of the season has been Miereles playing well in the middle, why the fuck did he have to tinker with that and put Dirk on the left where he is even worse than on the right, and displace Maxi to the bench, he's not great, but at least he has some guile and idea.
I'm the same as Crump, as soon as I realised what the formation /team was, and he had done all that just to accommodate Lucas I knew we were in trouble. Lucas has not been playing badly for Lucas, but Raul is a far better option.
I don't know why after six weeks out he felt compelled to play Gerrard from the start anyway.
I think he has written his own death warrant with both the inept selection, performance and the comments.

Yeh playing Raul out there was plain stupidity as was Kuyt on the left. Gerrard was a better option on the right FFS
 
To be fair. Kuyt has played out on the left for holland from time to time and he's looked as good as anything we have on the left.

I really thought we were gonna win, even after seeing the team sheet and knowing how wrong he was getting it, I still thought we were capable of beating Wolves. Wolves. At home

Tickets for games over Christmas used to be like rocking horse shit. From 6.30 last night I tried to give two away but no one fucking wanted them. Seriously, between 4 of us in the pub we mush have texted a hundred people from 6.30 and the stock response was 'fuck off, it's on in the pub and it's going to be shit.'

Can anyone get excited about watching us get beat by Bolton on Saturday? With a hangover? Only if they've sacked the silly old twat.

I live in Spain but i'm on holiday here in my hometown of Stafford, not far enough from Wolverhampton, anyway 2 of my oldest pals with whom i used to catch the scouse express every saturday morning as a youth offered me a spare they had. I turned them down generally because i'm broke after Christmas but in truth i could have afforded to go.... i just didnt want to.

I sat in a pub full of Wolves baying for blood and in honesty towards the end i didnt even want us to equalise because i wasnt sure if i could take the embbarrassment of celebrating after having watched us be so completely contemptible,disgusting, soulless,pitiful.

I've been a rabid Liverpool fan all my life and just couldnt face it, last night i wanted Wolves to score a couple more just to make it a fait acompli that Roy would be shamed into resigning.

If Roy does not go in the next few days i will sincerely be hoping that Bolton hand us our arse on saturday as well.

Nah, he was shite. But so was everyone else aswell. I can understand Nando though, we expect him to create chances from hoofing the ball towards him. We played a long ball passed our midfield, every time!
 
His number one assister, Reina, was giving it straight to Wolves players last night.

The lot of them can fuck off. Torres had one game where he looked class and I don't think it was a coincidence that he knew half a billion people would be watching it all over the planet. Two goals against Chelsea and since then we may as well have played Carlton Cole.
