Well we vote this Friday. The media have given loads of reasons to vote for the Treaty, and a few reasons to vote against. I don't really want to get into an argument about it in order to try to change peoples minds but most of the stuff mentioned and put on posters by both sides is complete and utter rubbish and missing the point completely.
For me it's like this : If you want to give up more sovereign power to an unelected bunch of officials in Brussles andsee the continuation and expansion of a European empire. Vote Yes.
If you want to fuck up the empire building and you like the country making it's own decisions in those areas it hasn't ceded power in then vote No.
Before someone gives it the "Europe isn't an Empire" here's Barrosso himself explaining it is an empire, one created without violence or war.
