My lovely wife has just told me she has already bought the prezzies for our 8 nieces and nephews and the 8 kids of friends she buys for.
£20 each only she said, FUCK ME that is £320 on kids not in my house, its no wonder we are all skint and in debt.
We as a society are crazy with money and spend far too much, I am going to speak to the parents of the kids we buy for and ask for this not to happen next year, they will get shit loads of stuff from their own family and we get them birthday presents so why the need for xmas as well.
Obviously you need to get something for nieces and nephews ETC, we are just unlucky that our two sisters have 8 kids between them.
Then when you get to your kids what is the amount you spend, most of us surely spend one or two hundred on each kid then maybe gifts for you other half.
What recession >🙁
