Sort of sorry he's going to go in disgrace but it's been coming and he should have knocked it on the head well before now

Do they owe him until the end of the season? Should there be some sort of respect offered here or all sentimentality goes out the door?

I cant help but feel sorry for Wenger, the fans are shit.

Then signs and chants are embarrassing

I was just coming on to this thread to say that I doubted Silver Sean would take any pleasure in this.....

I'm fucking raging that I don't have any Arsenal supporting mates.

There's a picture on the Beeb of the arsenal bench, hands covering their faces in shock, and Sanchez sat behind them all smirking away to himself.

Just saw the highlights and the weird part is the camera cuts to the bench and he's clearly covering his face with his hands laughing to himself as he talks to Cech. In fairness it may be out of contrxt as we dont know what they are talkimg about. But then he seems to realise hes on camera and composed himself pulls his hands down grimaces and looks serious, for about 2 seconds then starts laughing again and puts his hands up to cover his face.

I have a few mate - I'm very much looking forward to this morning. 😀

With any other club you might think this sort of result would prompt an implosion that would see them plummet down the table. But with Arsenal, getting humiliated by Bayern before holding onto 4th place for dear life seems to be an annual occurrence so sadly I suspect they will be fine.

The Gooners can't even organise a protest properly. Each time they announce there's going to be THE protest, only a few idiots are visible and/or audible, with the odd handwritten poster, Piers Morgan on Twitter, and, er, that's it. No wonder Wenger has been so comfortable there for so long. The fans are distracted by their bizarre obsession with baiting opposing fans, the directors are too busy gloating about the steady stream of top four revenue, and the players are forever taking selfies to celebrate everything from scoring the odd goal to beating lower league teams. If it wasn't for the football they'd all be perfectly fine.

It's amazing how lenient the authorities are with him in spite of his Ferguson-like use of refs as his all-purpose excuse. Even when he physically shoves them around he only gets a relatively modest punishment. They should hit him hard over last night's comments:

"In the second half the ref killed the game. He was very, very powerful for Bayern. Lewandowski was offside and it was not a penalty and, on top of that, he gives us a red card that kills us completely.

Bayern are a good side but they can say thank you to the referee for the decisions in the second half. It leaves me very angry and frustrated. Even more so because we are in a difficult period. It is absolutely unexplainable and scandalous. I will take a lot of criticism but it doesn’t change my mind. It doesn’t make them right. The players have not let me down. The referee has let us down.”

In terms of the fans behavour it's usually the bellends that shout the loudest. I'm guessing for most they're respectful of what he's achieved for them but want a change.

The last 5 or so seasons have been pretty curious for Arsenal. It feels - from an outsiders perspective - that Wenger never went all out to win. I wonder why.

The thing that would most concern me then, as an Arsenal fan, would be that the board have not challenged him on this it seems. A board that don't them seem to be bothered about being winners makes it pretty uncomfortable for the club

Arsenal fan TV is fucking hilarious. Cant understand a word when some of them are interviewed though. "Bludd, innit bludd".
I mean, speak properly so that the people that are enjoying laughing at you can actually understand you, you fucking cunts. Sort of.

Conte, the don one
Mourinho, the special one
Klopp, the normal one
Pep, the smart one
