Terry savaged Savage

The cunt is not wrong though regarding Savage. While it's funny about Savage being pistol whipped the overall point BJT making about being criticised by players who haven't had as good a career is so fucking stupid and narcissistic it's beyond belief.

I think that's the only time I've ever heard or watched John Terry, and not immediately wanted to see his head caved in with a heavy object.

Although I think Savage, while clearly never having a career (or the playing ability) you could compare to Terry, Ferdinand or Carragher, certainly played at a decent level for a very long time, as much or more than quite a few football commentators and pundits, so saying "a really bad level" throughout his career isn't quite fair.

Clark Carlisle. Steve Claridge. Etc.

Still, quite funny.

Thats a really aggressive opinion but seeing as this post is coming from me you're just going to have to take it on the chin

Savage won't give a stuff either TBF.

No, he'll be laughing his socks off. He's actually not as bad a broadcaster as I thought he would be, although to put it in context, I did think he'd be like listening to a monkey shit into a trumpet. So not bad compared to that.

Probably not and as cloggy points out he'll love the attention. I think BJT has made himself look pretty stupid as well if you ask me.

What's Brave John Terry's big problem anyway? At his age, and with the form his team are in, loads of people will be putting every bad performance down to his age, or saying he's finished. There's plenty more saying he should be playing more often too (although to be fair, that's usually Harry Redknapp, who would be playing Terry and Ferdinand as England's CB pairing now if he was manager)

Happens to all players, especially ones that have been on top as long as him.

They're both absolute cunts, but at least Terry was good at football, what the fuck has Savage been any good at?

Winding people up.

In fairness he was good enough in his younger days to be on ManUre's books, though he wasn't kept on.

savage played at a terrible level in his career. saw a lot of shite players. he knows shit when he sees it.

I still remember a Gerrard and Alonso midfield partnership being outfought and out-thought by a Savage and Tugay midfield for Blackburn.

That gale of loud but fake laughter that greeted "JT's" supposed joke:

That's what stood out for me as well.

Also, if that's what he has to say about the likes of Savage, what does that mean for your average journalist who has never even played the game?

Yep. Savage didn't give his opinion as a fellow footballer. He gave it as a pundit. Much as I think he's a fucking nob his opinion as a pundit should be as relevant as any other pundit.

Making a public statement to say you don't care what someone says = you care what someone says.

Terry just said 99.9% of everyone doesn't have the right to call him a cunt. It's only ok if you played with him for England or tag teamed his wife. Fuck John Terry. Fucking cunt. I'll call the fucking cunt a fucking cunt. Cunt.

or for that matter, Jose Mourinho.

Imagine if the catering industry took his approach. 'I'm sorry, Sir, but as you're not a Michelin stared chef, you can take your opinion and shove it".

It's arrogance of the highest order and smacks of smugness. It's like he think he actually played in the Champions League final.

Criticism can be valid from everyone. A 5 year old can tell you he's playing shite and be 100%. A decent expert can be far more specific on why he's being shite, but it still amounts to him being shite.

He knew he'd have the London media on side when firing these shots and I'm sure he's confident it went well, but it reeks of insecurity to me.

I have some sympathy for Brave John Terry. Social media has allowed any fucking spastic to have an opinion and a platform to voice it.

99% of opinions expressed on the Internet are utterly fucking worthless. Like some dopey fat cunt complaining that Joel Rubichon's desserts aren't a patch on the lovely pancakes they eat at Little Chef, despite having no valid point of reference, such as having ever eaten at L'Atelier and *also* Little Chef.

Criticism is absolutely NOT valid from everyone. The opposite is true.

That's true, but a) it's not going anywhere any time soon and b) this criticism came from an age-old punditry format.

He'd be a better person if his skin were as thick as his skull.
