I've deliberately put Kuyt on the left to help out Insua, bearing in mind United are stronger down the right side.

Any of that top 4 are capable of scoring at any time. It's a pretty good side if you ask me.

Although Zorba has played well recently I really hope he doesn't play against United.
 
I like yours as well but not convinced with Kuyt on the right of a 4-4-2.
I just want to see 2 strikers and Gerrard behind them.
As long as Lucas is not in the starting XI, Ill be happy

Is Agger definite? I'd almost rather see Kelly play as Zorba lack of mobility against Rooney and Berbatov worries me greatly.

Didn't give Sami much hassle last year and Zorba's heading ability could be invaluable.

Zorba's been our best centre-back so far this year according to Morse's MOM list and I don't think he's even hit 10 games yet. With Rooney's heading ability being highlighted by the media as each match passes, Zorba would be my first choice CB for Sunday.

I gotta disagree, but I'm too bollixed to explain why.
 
Anyone who would pick Zorba + Carragher as the CBs hasn't been paying attention.

Hyppia was more than just a good strong header of the ball, he was a positional genius.

Zorba is a solid defender, but not much more than a strong presence in the air. Everything he does is clumsier and dirtier than Hyppia, and he can't make up for his lack of speed anywhere near as well.

You want to give one of the most natural strikers at operating between midfield and CB more space as our CBs really deep due to the threat of pace? Simply because Rooney has, uncharacteristically, scored a few goals with his head recently?
