Teachers to Strike

so on 30th June the teachers are doing a good old strike. Only 35-40% of teachers voted but apparently that is enough.

Apparently the argument is mainly around having to delay the retirement age (as per most of the country) and also that the pension deal is being reduced as they are seen as unaffordable by the treasury.

Where do you stand on this, is it ...

A) They are having a laugh, they only work 9 months a year and even a reduced pension is still a good one. Working longer until retirement is something we are all going to have to do as we all live longer, times have changed. Why do teachers think they should not be part of all the changes and savings we are all going to have to make.

B) Good on them, the govt are being tight in making these changes and it is a typical Tory approach to reduce money spent on Public Sector. Money should be saved elsewhere
