Keep it all in here.

i thought we were sloppy and careless at times, especially Sterling.

Shelvey did more in two minutes than Allen and Henderson did all match.

Gerrard's passing game was good.

Enrique was decent.

Downing was the worst player on the pitch. I was amazed he came out for the second half.

Gerrard passing game was not good. He was sloppy as anything. Only downing was worse.

Allen has been poor of late he needs bench time and he will come back to the standard he is well capable of.

Downing needs drowning simple as.
Sloppy passes but a good game in place we need to find that right striker in January will be interesting to see who it is.

Downing made a great tackle in the first 5 minutes he should have come off after that so he could say he had a good game.

Enrique continues to improve. Say what you will but at least he gets into the box.

Allen was poor as was Sterling and Henderson.

Johnson was decent Gerrard too and as usual Suarez was excellant but was starved of service.

Reina had his best game of the season.

Same old same.

Failing to win 2 games in a row in 2012 is abysmal.

Transitional season or not.

Slack 1st ten minutes, dominated the remainder of the first half and should have been ahead at the break.

Lost some momentum in the second half and the game got bogged down in the middle of the pitch. Whatever threat Swansea had was nullified, I thought their only real hope of scoring was from a set piece.

We looked a little more threatening when Shelvey came on. I was a little unsure why Cole was brought on as I thought Suso would have given better balance.

Game stats were pretty even for both sides so a draw was probably the right outcome. Still irks though that even when we had a breakaway we were still unable to take advantage.

Getting a rep for being hard to beat but we're still goal shy.

I much preferred watching us this way.

Ignorance is bliss.

We were sloppy, should have won though. Off work tomorrow so staying over in Swansea, have some beers.

I thought we played ok - Gerrard and Allen were surprisingly awful. Sterling was wastful but at least tried hard. The rest were good. Particularly Suarez and Enrique. All the defence was great with the obvious exception of Downing who was utter gash. I've always been willing to give the guy a chance but today was the final straw. His fuck up to allow their player to clatter Reina in the face was inexcusable. He was constantly out of position and when he did find himself in his familiar position time and time again he failed to beat his man. 20million???? Get to fuck!!!!

Swansea are a good and organised outfit and in Hernandez they have a very good player. Overall a clean sheet away. I'm not going to moan about that.

You'd think we lost today. Was a pretty good performance imho, just missing a goal.

Reina, Johnson, Enrique, Sterling and Suarez were good, although Sterling looked a bit tired towards end and he was very wasteful. At this level 2 against 1 needs to be a goal.

Ah well. Clean sheet, 8 match unbeaten run (thats been a while eh?!) and a decent result.

Downing needs to go, and we lack a couple of attacking options. What else is new...

We are obviously not as good as Swansea these days... after that first half the game was open. The strongest team took control. Our midfield is not good enough, and it is about time Allen is dropped. The system has settled now and show that we are not hard to break down, and not hard to defend against. Year I know we are in a transition phase and it is unfair to expect anything for a few seasons! Anyway, Rodgers to Liverpool Made Swansea better and Liverpool weaker... Who would have thought that?

Couldn't disagree more. We had the better chances and on another day could have won (away) comfortably. Of course we are lacking some players in key positions but I think at the moment we are doing a great job of damage limitation. Unbeaten in 8 games. Slowly rising up the table. Blooding in fresh and quality talent. I'm happy.

Agree absolutely. Ignore Insignificance, since the lobotomy he is negativity personified.

Why the fuck are we playing Downing at left back Enrique upfront....

We have Assaidi who has done more in one game than downing all season....

Enrique left back Assaidi left wing.

Oh and whoever said Gerrard had a good passing game is obviously Fucking blind....

Ha ha - It is a strange one though. We all watched the same match so I'm flummoxed why he'd have that opinion. Hey ho each to their own.

I'm uber negative post a draw or defeat but we were good today for the mst part. Still allow teams space between our defence and midfield but had enough chances to win today.

Henderson was ok, downing was shit, SG was poor.

Agree about Assaidi - Thing is though Enrique has proven in the last few games he is well suited to playing further up the pitch. Again he played very well there and bar a few inches could have scored. Downing (to coin a phrase) can 'do a job' at left back. Today, sadly he was awful. I can only assume Assaidi had a knock or something from Thursday.

Yeah I can see Enrique has been playing better recently.... buy he can still attack from lb aswell.

Why keep putting square pegs in round holes. It's bloody Rafa-esque

I suspect (without much foundation) that Assaidi will get a lot more chances and come good after x-mas.

The idea of playing Enrique further forward seems to work quite well - it was playing Downing behind him that didn't work. I guess that in the case of Downing, wherever you played him it wouldn't work because the guy just doesn't seem willing to give 100% effort.

Or even 50%.

Is this sarcasm?

You say we're not as good as Swansea and that the strongest team took control, yet from where I was sitting it looked like for the most part we were dominant. They caught us on the break once or twice, and looked dangerous from corners, but really if we had the talent we'd have buried them by at least a couple of goals.

Once again a lack of incisiveness and no real support for Suarez up front contributed to a disappointing draw, but Swansea were there for the taking

They weren't better in second half... And when we weren't not able to build on that positive first half, I assume that is because we are not good enough.

And for gods sake, we played Swansea and not Real Madrid.... We are still Bottom half, and again i assume that is because we are not good enough.
