It's been a really good performance so far - I think the only players who need to really improve today are Downing, Allen and Gerrard. Downing I expect I guess, especially at LB ... but Allen and Gerrard can do more, and if they do in the 2nd half, we'll win.

i honestly don't get all these comments about how we're playing "good stuff" or how it's been a good performance . I mean it's not shocking , swansea haven't really tested us and we have had the better chances but all in all this is a very slow , average quality game .

Stevie has been just as bad. Allen has looked anonymous cos he's playing deep to try to give him an option early cos he's Gerrard is so poor today.

Well we could, probably should have scored 4 goals at least. Free headers by Johnson from corners, Sterling hitting the bar, and Enrique looked level when his goal was disallowed.
Swansea haven't had too many clear cut chances.
We need to get that goal though. Or it'll be all too familiar again.

To be fair, Henderson has done ok. But playing him there seems to affect Gerrard and Allen.
