I woke up to watch Stoke but not this.

I should not watch anymore 345am games this season.

Yep bit 4om games England time suck

Yeah true ... kick off times ranges from 10:30pm, 12midnight, 1am, 5:45am ... but having lived here my whole life, to me that's normal.

I'd be freaked out if I saw Liverpool game and it was actually daylight outside lol.

This game was acutally 645am, like beign back in the CL!!

Mid week games and the late kick-offs on Saturday & Sunday are the bane of my existence.

Good to see Gerrard back behind the wheel. He was pinging the ball everywhere like he used to. Suppose he is showing Alonso what he is missing. Come home Xabi!

It's odd how teams have decided to sit off Gerrard recently, they almost seem not to rate him as much, but I imagine they'll be getting a lot tighter from now on, so he'll find it a little more difficult. But it was great to see him take advantage as much as he has done.

For some reason, they're not expecting him to do much damage from deep so they give the space.

Fuck knows why. He's always had a sensational passing range

If they get tighter to him they leave space for Henderson or Allen though, who can also supply some great long passes, though not as consistently.

Great game for the lad to break his duck.
The team played great but in truth were never really in much danger as Sunderland are shite.

Wisdom, Reina, Downing, Sterling, Suarez & Lucas were all quality last night. Gerrard was unbelievable. Henderson had a very good game too. The lad tries and tries, never stops. Skrtel was poor. All in all, a great trip.

Thought he was ok myself, for the most part, bu yeah, those needless tackles piss me off seriously though. Joe Allen is another fucker guilty of the same thing.

Good win and performance. Yes Sunderland were dire apart from a few dangerous set pieces but we were on our game and made them look poor.

Thought Gerrard was excellent and his passing much more accurate that it has been this season. Our defence was solid although young Wisdom struggled at times, you can tell he's not entirely comfortable playing full back. Mixed bag from Sterling, Downing and Henderson played well and played their part, Lucas was ok and Suarez was as menacing as ever when he had the ball.

Thought it was a decent atmosphere actually. Strange that 🙂

That video of Gerrard's every touch is marvelous. What a player, if he can summon more games like that and add the odd goal, it will lift our team massively.

After the last few games we're no longer looking like a one-man team. Now it's a two-man team. 3rd goal was the essence of that. Gerrard and Suarez think on the higher plane than everybody else and they manage to connect even when they are positioned half-length of the pitch apart. An absolute joy to watch.

the last few games have been good team performances. Yes it is still personisified by Suarez and lately Stevie G. But the movement especially in their third has been good. Looking at the masterpiece of a pass by Stevie to the great Luis, look at the movement created before the pass is release. I think it is Raheem dragging one of the CDs out of position and so creating space for Gerrard to pass in and Luis to move in.

That vid of SG against Sunderland had a bit of everything. Great tackling, great movement after the pass to make himself available again, and wonderful visionary 'hollywood' passes when a chance was on. I really hope that this SG is back.

Thought it was Gerrard myself. For both Suarez goals. Difficult to make out on a 640x480 resolution stream though.
