Suarez the cheat

And that's why he's moving to A.Madrid.
Oops, I guess Barca blocked that move.

I'm starting to think I could make money out of situations like this.

He's clearly looking for citizenship to avoid having to get a work permit / visa. And there's a very easy way to do that since his wife has Italian citizenship.

Pity....I'd have been willing to marry him for a nice fee myself.

It’s Juve that needed him to be a citizen, wasn’t it?

They’ve got Morata now anyways.

Can he not buy one of those golden visas, or whatever they're called?

I think you can get a Greek one for relatively next to nothing.

Imagine having enough space to be able to produce outrage over this. Anyone who can fluently speak spanish can get by in italian.
Yeah that’s why I find that quote by some guy saying Suarez would get lost if Italian journos spoke to him to be weird.
Spanish speakers definitely take time adjusting to conversational Portuguese, but find adapting to Italian piss easy.

Yeah, when my Spanish was at its peak and I was living in Spain, we knew a few Italian girls and I could understand a lot of what they were saying.

I'd imagine if I was married to an Italian for God knows how long, I'd be able to speak a fair bit if I was a native Spanish speaker too to boot.

Then again, he probably is spectacularly dumb.

Most of the lads I know who tried to or did pursue footy careers can barely read or write. I know this because of the odd Facebook update that takes five minutes to understand phonetically. Maybe the test was written, and he's not that thick, he's just never done much of it.

On the other hand, you will have someone like Thiago fluently speaking 3-4 languages and able to express his thoughts coherently (having thoughts also helps, I guess). Did you hear his interview? He's been to an English-speaking country literally just a handful of times in his life and his English is already better than Robbo's.

It's really odd.
I was gutted when Xabi, Torres and even to a lesser extend Coutinho, left and hated them for it.
Time has proved to be a healer somewhat and I have mostly forgiven them all and almost feel sorry for Torres and Coutinho now.
However when Suarez left he did so with my blessing and good will, knowing that he had given everything he could for us on the pitch.
Yet as the time passes I have grown to dislike him more and more the longer it is since he has left.
Odd,
I still think he is probably the best player I saw play for Liverpool though.

Indeed, imagine winning the CL and PL titles then getting nostalgic about a season we won nothing. I think some of our fans actually preferred being plucky underdogs.

Barca have f'ed up, letting a player go for free especially one as talented as Suarez. 2 goals 1 assist over the weekend.
