Poll Suarez banned - Who gets the nod?

Suarez was one yellow away from a one game ban for a few weeks so we all knew we'd have to play a game without him sooner rather than later.

We play West Ham on Sunday. What formation would you play and who would you pick up front?

I wouldn't be against playing a 4-6-0 ala Spain with Shelvey being given the 'withdrawn 9' position.

He's done fuck all since coming off his ban, and has looked lazy. I'd use him as a sub or in the euro Disney cup until he sorts his shit out. It's not like we're short of cm's and he done nothing lately to earn a shot over the others

Only reason i had it that way round is because thats how we done against young boys and because gerrard is better as a creator as his shooting boots have left him. Shelvey is one of the few players we have thats not scared to bloody well shoot.

What has henderson done to deserve a shot? Suso? Allen? All out of form and out of sorts, and only suso looks lively but seems a little lightweight at the minute.

Shelvey tries to force a game rather than doing nothing like henderson.

Shelvey when he comes off the bench seems to miss 2 sitter each time.....but surely the fact he's in those positions is a massive positive? We create chances with him on the pitch because his movement is excellent.

And how is scoring goals (regardless of competition) "fuck all"? He's scored 5(?) goals this season i nthe europa league. Why not play him when our best options are..........hang on he is our best option

Also, the past few games rodgers has played shelvey in the flase 9 role (sub appearance against wigan & young boys)

This. We can't afford to be experimenting, playing more players out of position. This is a must win game. Failure isn't an option. Play a fucking striker.
