Going by the players we have been strongly linked with (sanchez, lallana and lazar) on top of the signings made already, how do people think that will influence our style of play?

Depends on the opposition init

Still be quick counter attacks though

It seems like we're trying to add more of the same rather than sign anyone that will make a marked change on our style.

Even more flexible in terms of attacking approach, because our options in reserve will consist of more than just Joe Allen.

If Suarez isn't going to start next season, I would be quite interested to see whether Rodgers could make a pairing of Sturridge and Borini work.

We need to cut those individual mistakes out at the back, both seasons have been terrible for them, its the only real negative about the team under Rodgers.

Unfortunately it looks like Johnson will still be our main right back, its a struggle to see anything positive about that, you have to laugh how teams targeted Johnson last season more than they did Flanno once he was established.

This.

Even if all the supposed mooted transfers don't come off we are still going to have better depth and more options. Hopefully this will more than balance out the likely loss of Suarez.

I don't think that last bit is necessarily true. I think Rodgers is targeting a left back because he knows Flanagan can play right back and that we hopefully have Enrique to return too. I wouldn't be surprised to see Flanagan become our first choice right back.

Love Flanno but im not convinced hes good enough (yet) to be an automatic first choice on either side, obviously he was last season but that was because we were so light in those positions, we need better on both sides really, like you say it wouldn't surprise at all to see Flanno take that right back spot next season but that probably says more about how useless Johnson is.

Reading that sounds like im doing him down there but don't mean it like that at all, Flanno is an important member of the squad now, reliable cover for both sides, he needs to improve though just like all the younger players, in an ideal world we would get rid of Johnson and get a top quality right and left back in this summer, looks like we will have to wait a year for the right back though.
