I need cheering up....

Sturridge - how lucky are we? Does he get enough love from us?

I read somewhere that he's got the best lfc scoring record for the first 20 games or something (Binny - help?). He is ahead of of Rush, Fowler, Suarez and Torres!!!!

Injuries permitting, how good can Daniel become?

I think he's amazing and I was completely wrong about him. I reckon he will become better than Torres and Fowler (indulge me).

Show your love for him here.

Voted 'too early to tell' for a legend in the making. He has all the tools of a complete modern striker though, pace, strength, shot, technique, acumen and shite dance.

This excludes the stoke game.

You know there is a table of most goals on their full debut which has Ronny Rosenthal on top with three goals?

so pleased someone had the cahunas to come out and declare him to be on course to the the greatest. True sturridge love. Who was it?

Studge can be a little frustrating on occasions but the lad is one hell of a talent.

He'll rip it up this season if he remains injury free.

Anyone else worry about his attitude and/or temperament?

He's got all the talent in the world, but I dunno what it is, there's just something about him that concerns me.

Seems sound as fuck going by interviews and shit since he moved to Liverpool. Also seems to be popular with his team-mates.

At worst, maybe he's just a little odd or something but i don't see this so-called bad attitude or the likes.

I think he has a suspect temperament but the comforting bit is he knows it, and has purposefully surrounded himself with family and friends to keep his feet on the ground.

"I'm very family orientated. I speak to my parents on a daily basis and to my sister and my niece and I thought, moving to a new city, it was only right I had people close to me to keep me grounded."

He can become the best if he continues in the current vein of form and works hard. He he has all the tools to go all the way.

I'm often surprised by the lack of talk about him on here so I'm glad this thread appeared.

Definite legend in the making and I rate him very highly indeed. His variety of finishing, touch, skills, passing, crossing, position sense are all excellent, and he's makes his decisions very early which is a sign of a quality attacker. Look how early he gets them shots off against Chelsea and City.

He's a class act and he'll be our highest scorer this year.

Has he played a full season, seems to be in or out/injured, so time will tell if he is a legend.

Still a talented player.

Legend is an over used word.

Lets just concentrate on keeping him fit and in form on a consistent basis.

The lazy cunts should have done a motion capture thing with him and got it right.

i'm pleasantly surprised by the number of folks who have think he could go on and become the best lfc striker ever - time will tell, but he has everything to do it.

@Ryan - I think his attitude issues have been overblown as a result of his early transfer to chelsea where some cited him as money grabbing, since then he has buckled down, stayed out of trouble and gone to unfashionable clubs on loan and been a success.

How good can he become? Very good indeed. To become the best ever he'll have to beat the King, and that ain't gonna happen.
