I've been thinking about this, and my view is that Klopp (however people here might dislike it) will not sign another central striker. Firmino, for good or bad, is Klopp's preferred central pivot. I can see Solanke being developed as an understudy to Firmino as he seems like someone who likes playing with his back to goal, and could be used as a pivot flanked by two wing-forwards.
He'll try and improve the attack by adding more Mane like players i.e. wing-forwards with pace and goals. Salah fits the mould very well.
I could however see him try and go for a player who is comfortable either playing as a LWF or a central striker. Someone like Mbappe, or more realistically, someone like Timo Werner (who I really like). Ideally, Klopp would have hoped that Origi could have been this player, but that's clearly not happened yet.
So basically, our attack would be this:
Central pivot: Firmino, Solanke
Wing-forwards: Mane, Salah, Mbappe/Werner (or the like, who can also play centrally if needed), Origi
I just don't see him signing an out and out striker like Dolberg or Lacazette.
Personally, I'm ok with this strategy provided the new LWF we get is seriously good. Mbappe or Werner would of course fit the bill because they're both shit hot.
But of course if it's someone like Demarai Gray or Lanzini, it'll leave a lot to be desired.
