If you have ever been to Lisbon you cannot have failed to notice the Street art and graffiti - its everywhere. Some of it is rank tagging but there is also some amazing stuff. The image above is by a famous artist called Vhils and what you cannot see is that the face is actually a relief where the render has been chipped away to different depths creating the image. Unfortunately this building has I think been knocked down but it prompted us to search out other things he had done in the city.
I was gobsmacked to see on a recent visit that he has been to Exeter of all places, heres the image he created below, not his best work, but impressive nontheless. On wondering around Exeter is a little hot spot for really good street art who'd have thought it, here's some picture
