No, not that sort.

I was looking back at our results to see when the last time we won for and 5 games on the bump etc, and found this:

That season we had a 10 games and a 9 game winning streak, the same year! That seems like fucking eons ago now. What it'd be like to go on a 10 game and then 9 game streak with this team.

I know we 'could' in theory do one this year, but obviously with our luck we wont, we'll get robbed with a bastard breakaway.

I'm worried about finishing the season strongly as it will give me some futile optimism for next season, only to get crushed again!

I remember being really pissed off after that match, it was a weird midweek one and a huge letdown but looking at the form we had that season there was no reason to complain, some great streaks there.

But it was one of those nights you could've strangled Luis Garcia...

A 9 game streak now and a CL place would make for a excellently positive summer. Not gonna happen but you can't help thinking about it.

What a strange season that one, we also had a 10 game winning streak in the same season and won the facup after bearing Brum 7-0 in semis.

What's really strange about it was that our attack force was Cisse, Crouch and Morientes!

If I remember rightly, we picked up more points than any other team from October onward...

Was this the season we had the Finnan - Hyypia - Carra - Riise defence? I remember we had lots of clean sheets during that!
