Stoke. Not a big club. Not a great footballing side. A team we should beat. Easily. All of sudden Stoke has become a massive game and a serious challenge and worry.

Who ever thought that last sentence would ever exist in reality? That's how bad our season is. I'd like to know at what point the players say "Enough is enough. I'm sick of getting beat and we're either going to win this fucking game or I'm at least prepared to lose teeth\arms\appendages trying"

Not sure I can even be arsed watching in on Saturday.

Sunny, we got battered by the bottom team in the Premiership

We've just lost over two games to a side who are 20th in the league beneath us

We have proved capable of being badly beaten by anyone

But, as usual, Benitez will scrape a (meaningless) win when he needs to, nothing will change and the season will just lurch along like a polio victim

The worst thing about last night was how fucking disasterous it was to our momentum. I really didn't expect us go lose and it's really pissed on our fireworks. After 2 back to back premier league wins, I really expected to see signs of life and a real forward shift. Now I expect us to lose satday.

I will watch the game, but I fear it'll be even worse viewing than last nights shambles.

At least you are prepared for it.

I've found that I start watching every game with the consoling thought that it cant be any worse than the last one, only to have the consoling thought ripped to shreds

Exactly Jack. How low do we need to sink before people start pulling their fingers out their backsides and actually do what their paid obscene amounts of money to do: Play football

At least their chairman is trying to provoke our players into twatting them...

Stoke do not fear Liverpool, says Peter Coates

Stoke City chairman Peter Coates insists Liverpool are no longer a team to be scared of ahead of their game at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.
Liverpool are seventh in the Premier League, nine points ahead of Stoke.
"Every team in football now feels that, whilst Liverpool have got some fantastic players, you're not without a chance," Coates told BBC Radio Stoke.
"What matters to me is that we put on a good performance and give a good account of ourselves."
Liverpool are seventh in the Premier League, nine points ahead of Stoke.
Stoke lost 4-0 at Anfield in August, with Fernando Torres, Glen Johnson, Dirk Kuyt and David Ngog scoring the goals.
The Premier League game against Liverpool is followed by a televised FA Cup fourth round tie against Arsenal on Sunday, January 24.
"They're all good fixtures. Some you regard as more winnable than others, but we're looking forward to it," said Coates.

[/quote]why say it twice..

If Stoke's chairman can provoke us into twatting them we should offer him the Managers job.

I don't think we'll lurch like a polio victim though, I think we'll fall apart like a leper.

Everything he says is true.Honest thoughts is allways appricated. Much more appreciated than the fucking bullshit everyone in our club is touting around... Players allways talking about how big club we are who willallways hit back. Benitez allways talking about how difficult it is to compete with moneyspenders like City, Chelsea and United. Old stars allways talking about how much better everything were before. And owners talking about the new stadium which will be built as soon as (their private) financial crisis are over.. Talk talk talk... It is not the time to talk anymore. I am sick and fucking tired of this meaningless bullshit. iwant to see pride and passion... Not hear about it.

I almost want us to lose 6-0 or something so there is no choice but to sack Rafa.

Now that is a sad state to be in.
I do see where you are coming from though.
