Went to see him at The Echo Arena last night, it was bloody awful, and £30 quid a ticket.
The writing was very thin, the in-fills with some comic actors between changes were the least funiest things I have every seen, the only section that was fairly OK was his half hour Alan Partridge slot, the rest of the show was very sparse on anything, the production costs were kept to a bare minimum too.
Very disappointing, as Alan Partridge on the TV is one of my favourite shows.
Anyone else go?
