Steed Malbranque, the Belgian footballer, who played with Fulham, Spurs and Sunderland in the Premier League has retired from football aged 31 to look after his son, who has been diagnosed with cancer.
Lovely footballer who may have really shone given the opportunity to play at a Top 4 club with better players. Great respect for his decision and let's hope his son's cancer goes into remission.
Best of luck to you both.
