Worthy of it's own thread perhaps (though I know Sean won't agree).

Tottenham Hotspur are willing to listen to offers for an entire team’s worth of players in their desperate attempt to cut down the size of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad. Andros Townsend and Aaron Lennon are among the 11 players who face uncertain futures before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.
Head coach Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy want to bring the squad down to 25 and face a race against time to move players on. With Spurs still hoping to sign new players, Pochettino and Levy will consider bids for up to 11 men in the hope of getting rid of around five of them.

Townsend, Lennon, Soldado, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto, Naughton, Chiriches, Sandro, Capoue, Chadli and Dembele all up for sale by north London club.

Was thinking the same, good energy and effort, I think he has just failed to spark under the Spurs system and could return to form in the right team. He's still a very good player.
 
He was just never a £20M striker; I was horrified when we were strongly linked with him last summer. Thank God we "lost out" to Spurs on that one.

But he can be a good 3rd striker; not the most talented player, but an honest hard-working striker with good goal-scoring instincts. If we can get him for somewhere close to Remy money, I'd be for it.

I don't see how you can blame the spurs system. I mean the guy was missing chance after chance for the whole season. It wasn't like he wasn't getting good service.

Showing one miss means nothing, all top strikers have them in their CV. He showed in Spain how good a striker he is. I think he'll have a much better season after his first season's settling in.
 
Naughton, Dawson, Townsend and Lennon will all go QPR on deadline day in exchange for Remy and Arry's car window
 
Soldado isn't shit by any means. He isn't suited to leading the line on his own but he's a classy player. I'm not advocating signing him but I wouldn't write him off.
 
There isn'r one player on that list I'd take. Looks like Spurs have identified the right ones to discard,but why have they left it to now? The money that lot would bring in would be enough to make them serious challengers.
