I know that I've bored you all to death with my impending divorce. Sorry about that... But this one's not about me.

I've been struggling a lot lately, as the 'end time' nears - It should be in the next week or so. And I've been going to a divorce support group (like AA) just to get some of the shite outta my head. It's good to talk with people who 'get it', 'cos, even with the best will in the world, if you've never gone through this, you cannot understand it. That's why I go.

There's a bloke there called Rod. Lovely fella. Salt of the earth type. Always looking out for everybody else. Kinda took me under his wing on my toughest days...

His missus didn't just leave him (after 16 years). She destroyed him. She made sure that he found out about her multiple affairs before she fucked off. A teacher, she cost him is job, his career and his reputation by planting child porn on his pc and reporting him to the authorities. Needless to say, due to these lies, throughout the divorce proceedings, he barely got to see his 7 year old sob, whom he adored. Even at the end, though the charges were thrown out, and the police issued a public apology to him, he could still only see him with a court-appointed chapperone present.

He got through it all... "I'll be ok in the end", he'd say... "The truth will come out".

And it did. All of her evilness and lies were uncovered, and two weeks back, after 18 months of the most horrific shit ever, he finally won his case. And he got full custody. Full. He was the happiest man in the world.

On the appointed day, he arrived at her house to collect his son and take him home. As he knocked on the door, he heard three gun shots. The evil, evil cunt waited until he got to the house and then she shot his son twice and then herself. And he walked in to this scene... On the day his life should have gotten better. The day it should all have finally been made worthwhile.

How he didn't pick up the gun and shoot himself is beyond me.

A far stronger and better man than I.
