Which of these three: David Silva, Juan Mata, and Santi Cazorla is the best? If you were to build a squad around one of these three players, who would you choose?
David Silva for me.
You wouldn't argue with any of them, but Corzola is slightly behind the other too. Still a bit inconsistent, but it's his first season. I fully expect him to be brilliant next year.
Mata has been outstanding but I find something about him extremely irritating, (other than the fact he plays for Chel$ki obviously) I think it's that he looks like a hobbit.
Anyway on their best day I think I would go with Silva over Mata simply due to that little extra bit of pace and trickiness.
I get where you're coming from, he's the Spanish Rooney.

How is Silva better than Mata overall? Mata has contributed to 72 goals via assist or scoring in 94 games for Chelsea. That's phenomenal, and Silva, whilst excellent in patches has been nothing like as productive.I think it's Silva overall, although Mata is growing in stature all the time. Cazorla has been a bit inconsistent thus far. He looks a world beater one day, and a bit out of sorts the next.
