I saw the match and Balotelli was grimly bad, almost always offside for the second or third ball, never offered himself for a pass and next to no movement at all. I'll bet hell bag a hattrick in the next league match but, faced with a step up in quality in the champions league, he's as bad as he was here at Liverpool.
