Better than Poulsen and Lucas I reckon.
 
Honda is a nifty player. More pace than Maxi and better technique than most in our squad right now.

Not a world-beater but a very good signing he could be indeed.
 
We actually need more good technical players who can run a bit in our side. Good signing if true.

We need a few more like him and better.
 
We won't be able to sign him until Jan though, right?

I think we got Maxi outside of the transfer window due to certain circumstances. Would be nice add a much needed player or two before Jan.

You reckon? I would've thought players in his mould would come cheaper than what we've been used to due to the afterburns of the financial meltdown.

Anyways I've already lined up a few squadplayers who'd cost no more than £3M each and they'd actually be able to go straight into our current starting XI so you can all chill yourself down.

Oscar Wendt (left back), Martin Vingaard (left winger) and Dame (that's his name alright) N'Doye (striker). All players from probably the strongest team ever in Danish football in FC Copenhagen, a team that'll hopefully and potentially give Barcelona a good game come Wednesday. Heck even their new signing Cristiano Bolanos (AM whom Rafa was interested in signing back in his Sabrosa-days) would improve us at this stage.

Add players like Hangeland, Hazard, Afellay, Suarez and Eriksen to that list and we'd be back for good within weeks.

He's best position is probably behind the striker no? We desperatly need wingers with pace.

I'm with you on the wingers-with-pace part. I don't remember Honda as beeing particularly slow however but he's certainly no Hazard or Elijah or whomever we else might've taken a look at.
 
Thats a very good shout. I was advocating his signing all through the summer. Should have sold Babel and bought him. Pacey aswell

If for 12 million we swapped a waster on our bench for a player who would start in our first eleven or genuinely be a good sub then yes. His marketing in the east would surely be brilliant too.
