I think we can do it. in the away leg we had chances to score but just didn't take it. so we know how to open them up. Before sturridge we still managed to score goals so we can do it again. Just our chances will be slimmer if he starts with lucas, allen and henderson in midfield. No point having gerrard further forward if the ball never reaches him and he has to drop deep to get it. That midfield trio would be awful for creativity.

They're not brilliantly defensively either. We can do this. We just have to patrol the space between the defence and midfield more vigorously, because that's where they're really effective. Their movement and short passing in the final third is decent.

Allen should be nowhere near the starting line up for this one. Allen right now should be treated as youth and coming on in games where we are already up 3-0 with 20 mins to go to get his confidence back up.

I'll be keeping a close eye on Allen especially. I last week declared him a massive shithouse but I've calmed since then - Maybe he's just little shithouse now.
