kelly or glenjo? if kelly what happens to johnson does he continue to play left back or right midfield?
 
After Skrtel being a cunt I wouldn't be opposed to moving Kelly back to CB, but he's been so good at RB recently it would be tough to move him.
 
I gotta go with Kelly and can't for the life of me understand why Magic is playing LB when Aurelio is fit and available.

With our lack of attacking talent, Magic should and must get a run at RW.
 
I'd move kelly to center back. I've had my fill of skrtel. he was postionally shit when he arrived and if anything he's gotten worse. get rid.

I have never seen kelly play center back apparently he prefers center back to playing right back.
 
He mostly played CENTRE-back before getting into the first-team squad, but why move him from RB when he's doing so well?

BTW Aurelio has yet to play as well at LB this season as Magic did today. I'd keep Magic there unless/until we buy another LB this month.
 
We can't count on a young player like Kelly to solve all of our defensive problems. I think he should stay at RB for another while yet. He was caught out of position today a few times, and caught out in the air, which being our main problem, won't do anything for his confidence.

He should be our first choice right back, but looking at our current options at CB it is very tempting to have him play there.

If Agger is ok for the next game I think Wilson should be given a run. He already plays at international level FFS! Skrtel, although once a pretty good player for us looks to have completely lost it. Time to try and move him on IMO.
 
I don't think he's lost it, tbh.

Agger's a better CB, but both suffer without Carra guiding them.

If Skrtel were playing with Carra, he'd probably not be as shit as he is now.
 
Nobody thinks Skittles is better than Agger, but neither are great.

Agger's a superior player, but laughably injury-prone and inappropriate, ill-advised soundbite prone.
 
I'd rather move Kelly to CB and Johnson back to RB. Put Aurelio on the left and we're sorted.

If I remember it correctly he played as center back during the end of Houllier last season that is 2003-04.

We either need to give Wilson a couple of games, or put him out on loan to start getting him ready for next season

If we had a good enough centre-back pairing and defensive midfielder then Glenjo could easily play right-back, and do well at it.

We have neither, so Glenjo's laughably bad defending gets exposed and humiliated.

Which is a good point. Mascher and Carra could well have been shouldering a lot of that responsibility
