Carra ahead of Coates again? He's gone, isn't he?
It is. I think the confusion is how many parties are involved in the head-to-head count off. The head to head needs to consider every team that has the same points total. In the current table, only LFC and YB has the same points total (7), so only games between us count, which is why we're leading.
In the event of LFC and YB all losing tonight, it adds Udinese into the equation because they will have 7 points like the other 2. Once you factor in the results of LFC and YB against Udinese in addition to the results against each other, we end up on the losing end because YB has the most points in games between these 3 teams.
In short, let's just win tonight. 😀
If we both lose they are through right?? I reckon we will head out tbh and I dont think with the squad depth we have that that will be a bad thing.

How can you justify Carra over Seabass at this point?
It's called dressing room politics. But it's Carra, so still not sure how I feel.
It's strange about Seba. First straight choice he had between the two was against man City where he played Coates and he played quite well. He also brought him on against Everton ahead of Carragher, but then preferred Carra against Chelsea. Coates is young yet and looks a decent prospect. Hopefully he'll get a few chances this season and take them.
Just a thought, maybe it's because Gerrard is out, that Carra is playing?

We could do with a win tonight and then a piss easy draw for the next round. I know a cup's a cup, but unless this one is primarily for the kids, I really can't see the point of us staying in, we've hardly got a squad to compete in the league, let alone flying round the arse end of europe every thursday night.
