I'm sure if they lost there would have been a lot of excited posts today.

So are you all worried they now have a trophy winning manger ?

No ?

Didnt think so

We all know that they will be there or thereabouts again this season and despite the desperate attempts by some Liverpool fans to suggest that they're done for, I'm not getting my cock out for a celebratory wank just yet. There's been too many false dawns!

I think it could eventually be even sweeter that he has actually now managed to win a trophy rather than none at all.

In a few years time:

Moyes
"My United years you ask, yeah bagged the mighty Charity Shield cup trophy".

Reporter
"That was your first and only trophy as a manager anywhere is that right"?

Moyes
"I beg your pardon, also bagged the Community Shield once I believe it was".

Reporter
"You mean the final against Wigan that one time, right"?

Moyes
"Oh yeah babes, that's the one"

Reporter
...*wanders off"

His face is a picture with that shield though. He doesn't know how to react. Hilarious. That squad will get them near the title despite him. But win it? No chance. Guy's a fucking thumb.

Listen, congrats to him he has won the first Trophy available to him for Utd in this country. Will he win anymore, who the fuck knows. Hopefully they struggle and are edged out of the CL positions by us....

What does everyone think about how teams will approach Utd this year, now that it's Moyes and not Ferguson?
I think most will be facing them with a far more positive mentality, and Utd will struggle for the top 4, the massive bells.

It's still Utd but I think if they lose 1 or 2 they will struggle badly.

Yup, I really think they're going to struggle. I do realise they just walked the league, but a completely new coaching set up will have a big impact, hoping it's a negative one.
