Our ground staff only cleared the penalty area we were attacking at half time leaving the other end full of snow fall.

Lots of online abuse for it calling it cheating.

What’s everyone’s take on it?

It's no different to citeh leaving their grass to grow twice as long as usual before eplaying us like they did the other week.

Or over watering one side of the pitch, which we also do, as do most other clubs.

It's just a damn sight more obvious to the TV so they have made a meal of it.

My answer to this is fuck you every team does little things to use to their own advantage.

Fuck off Leicester and fuck off Martin Atkinson he is always shit when he refs our games it's like his eyes are painted on

Honestly, I find this incredible, City were that scared of us they'd hinder their natural game to effect us, in fact I'd honestly have thought it would have effected them more than us as we play more long and lofted balls than City.

Not when they had already left their training pitches to get long grass & then trained for a week leading up to it on them.

Ferguson used to do the same at Old Trafford, it's nothing new.

Anyway, its obvious they went out to clear the whole pitch, but there was more snow than expected and only had time to get about 20 yards from where they started

It was a bit small time. I also think it would have been better sweeping between the halfway line and the 18 yard box, that is where we needed slick passing.

I thought that. Also, that box hadn't done Alison any favours, would have been better clearing the other one.

I didn't even open the link but there was something about Tottenham ball boys wasting time last night too.

It's in the same league as that and towelling off the ball for throwins imo. It's not as bad as leaving the grass longer to stifle play.

I don't mind creating any advantage within the rules of the game, but the final third wasn't the issue, as Brizzle pointed out, it was getting to it. Having a less predicable bounce in the box is actually an advantage, as any beach ball can show

Which is also how Mane's goal happened, slightly weird ball path due to ice saw it find its way through to him. Missed opportunity there.

Mourinho used to get them to water just the side of the pitch where they were attacking.

Nothing new.

I hope Jurgen realises what he's letting himself in for by moving the training ground to Kirkby. For someone who hates the wind and other aspects of inclement weather, it seems a tad perverse to be basing himself in probably the coldest and windiest place in the area.

Windy harbour was a cunt to play on.

It is the same as loads of tricks sides use. Loads of teams have multiple balls to switch to for when the ball goes out of play, then go 1 up and stick to the 1 ball. Everton have done it against United in the past.

It is not against the rules, it is just being unsportsmanlike which loads of clubs do regularly. Storm in a teacup.

This. You see this happening everywhere. It's a non story

Yep. This is all. It just isn’t snowy and icy every game. Every other manager probably thinks this is a brilliant idea and they would have done the same.

Just heard TalkSport's resident wum Adrian Durham demanding we get docked six points for this! What a twat that bloke is. Of curse he's had loads of City fans 'dispassionately' agreeing with him.
