I managed to catch this on an American network. It might have been CNN or something. Anyway it was bloody funny. How the Americans can spangle up something like this - It was a clash of the absurds. The whole pomp of the thing and a clearly embarrassed KK thrown in was punctured by the American commentary.

*said in drawling Texas twang* "And here comes Kenneth Dalglish - Former Soccer hero and philanthropist. He's known as the King in Liverpool but in Glasgow he'll now be known as Sir Kenneth...... Knight of the realm" I damn near fell off my chair laughing.
