Never have we seen and never will we see such a genuine gentleman within the sport of football ever again

May you rest in peace sir bobby.

n'castle's hideous decline started the day they got rid of him because they weren't content with finishing top four/five. what they would give for that now, eh?

denied glory by the hand of god.

And Stuart Pearce. And Chris Waddle.

Now there was a real "Sir". A man who richly deserved his title for his contribution to the game.

RIP Sir Bobby

Chris Waddle's penalty was a disgrace.

Penalties aren't a lottery.
Ask Liverpool or Germany.

Or Beckham!!

Very sad, one of the last true gents of the game. May be rest in peace, prayers and thoughts to loved ones.

apart from king kev, bobby is THE best thing associated with n'castle. in a world of opposition manangers that are vile he was a true gent and I don't think a single fan disliked him.

You couldn't dislike him, even if you tried. Great manager, seemed like a really nice man too. Massive loss to football. R.I.P

I've always loved this man from Day 1.

He's just a lovable and genuinely nice guy and someone you'd wish he was a granddad to you or your kids.

RIP Sir Bobby.

YNWA.

My favourite Bobby story-

Reporter - 'So Shola your name Ameobi is a tough one to pronounce, especially for Bobby who notoriously struggles with difficult pronounciation does he attemp Ameobi or......what does he call you?'

Shola - 'he calls me Carl Cort'

Lol.

Its great that the last game he was involved in saw England smash the Germans one last time.
And his 'son' Alan scored the winner.

The more im reflecting on this the sadder im feeling.
