It was a second string team with a fifth team back four.
Dowing and Henderson, as Mark has just pointed out are not full backs, just in case anyone had not noticed, and Carra was finished two years ago.

It hit us on both goals really, because Henderson let the ball drop over his shoulder for the first goal (he's not a defender, so I'm not going to kick him over it) and for the second goal, it was inevitable because they were strong from distance and we'd taken away the only player capable of acting as a defensive midfielder and closing that gap (Henderson again).
