Shelvey injury

That's his season over then 🙁

Spearing seems to be struggling a bit still too after his injury, so that leaves us pretty bare in midfield.
 
Lucas and Poulsen are made of metal! They never get injured and are always available 😉
 
Hmm... is it any coincidence that Kenny was talking about how he was prepared to give the likes of Ince, Suso and Coady their chance on the bench if need be? Both Coady and Suso can play central midfield. (Ok, I may be thinking too much. :-[)
 
devastated for the lad. He was getting some minutes and would have liked to have kicked on sooner i'm sure.

Perhaps this will give a chance for coady or thomas to get a look in? Kenny did say they might feature this season
 
Maybe Coady not sure about Ince. He's a left winger.
Suso might be too small to play centrally but if we're strictly looking at ability he's the best candidate.

But realistically none of them will replace Shelvey. We've got Cole, Poulsen and Aurelio who are ready to step in.

conor thomas, not thomas ince. Apparantly a talented playmaker which might get a bit of a look in now

Haha. We knew he did it with the regulars. He's started doing it to potential threats as well now.

Seriously, this is shit news. I think he might have even started a few games the way it was going. Anyway, step up Joe Cole.
