Shelvey and Hendo playing now for under 21s

On ESPN at the moment, England v Norway. Hendo has been at his most Ray Wilkinsesque. Shelvey the usual mixed bag of lovely crossfield balls and clever passes along with simple passes misplaced and clumsy tackles.

He's one of our better prospects. Just signed for Salzburg, but he's destined for a big club in the future.

Nr.2 Hedenstad is also very exciting. He'll be a star.

Yeah. I only watched because Shelvey and Hendo were supposed to be the central two, but as usual with a Stuart Pearce team the formation changed to a fluid sludge after about ten minutes. (And that fecking brass band is at the under 21s as well now - giving me a damned headache!)
 
Seeing as Enrique is struggeling to get fit for Saturdays game that is not good news.

Robinson will have to step up.

But seriously, International football is so dour.
 
Certainly playing for Pearce's under 21s is of no help to our players given how Rodgers wants them to play. Shelvey was being encouraged to blast the ball long time and again. Desperate stuff.

Think he's been decent this season tbh. Gives us much better balance when he's on the left and GlenJo on the right.

But that said I wont be surprised if Rodgers goes for someone like Taylor next season.

Do yer think so Hansern? We got twatted in the only game he started. I'm not wholly blaming him, but the balance got us nowhere.

Yeah I do actually. We conceeded the goals we did against Arsenal due to mistakes. We had more than enough chances to get something out of the game. We had more posession and 19-11 in shot.
What cost us is that we can hit the target to save our lives.

He's not good enough going forward though, he's a bit limited there.
