[article]Xherdan Shaqiri says he is happy at Bayern Munich but would be open to offers if the likes of Liverpool, Napoli or Juventus made a bid.

Switzerland international Shaqiri, who joined Bayern from Basel in 2012, faces competition from the likes of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben for first-team football at the Allianz Arena.

It was claimed in January that Liverpool were interested in Shaqiri after losing out on Mohamed Salah to Chelsea, and asked by Goal.com about links with the Reds, Juve, Napoli and Borussia Moenchengladbach, the winger refused to rule out a transfer.

He said: "When you hear these names, of course you have to listen to the offer, but there is nothing concrete. I cannot say anything to this. I am feeling good in Munich but as a player you have to listen, if one of these top clubs is interested.

"I hear the interest from Borussia Moenchengladbach for the first time. You have to ask Gladbach. I cannot say anything."

Shaqiri said the Bundesliga remains his league of choice but could be tempted by England or Italy.

He added: "Bundesliga is the best league for me, but I also like the Premier League and Serie A. In Serie A many teams have developed well with nice players."[/article]

After our attacking displays this year - the improvements shown by Sterling, Sturridge, Suarez, Coutinho - I will be stunned if we are not close to the number once choice of promising young attackers who want to play in the premier league.

You're all forgetting that we'll be in the champions league next season. Having him on OUR bench is much better than having him on Bayern's bench.

I dont want anyone anymore. They can all fuck off.
I want next years squad additions to be:
Borini
Suso
Reina
McLoughlin
Wilson
And
Ilori

[article]The brother of Xherdan Shaqiri has spoken to Swiss newspaper Blik claiming that the Bayern Munich star could move to Liverpool, Manchester United or Inter during the summer if the offer was right. Shaqiri’s brother Erdin who acts as his representative said “Xherdan is 22. At this age, he needs to be playing regularly, which is not currently the case. We are waiting now until summer. then, when clubs make approaches: such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Inter and other top clubs, we can listen to their offers. That said, Bayern still remains our first point of contact before we talk to other clubs.”

Shaqiri has a contract until 2016, the price for the Swiss international would be high but after an injury plagued season under Pep Guardiola now could be the perfect time for clubs to lodge a bid.[/article]
