I never missed an opportunity to tell anyone who cared to listen how wonderful a footballer I thought Daniel Agger was and I totally understand why it annoyed some as I was certainly biased about him too.
I loved him though and I do miss him sometimes and wonder where he'd been today had his body not been made of glass..

Anyways, this is not a thread about whether he was worth the praise, whether he were better than Skrtel or how injury prone he was. All that is in the past, I just stumbled upon this video of 10 of his goals. Made me smile, not only because some of them are quite nice but also because there are some great memories of games in the past (Chl semis knocking out Chelsea etc.)

From me to you, Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays

I think my favourite Agger moments were his forward runs. Same thing every time, dribble past at least two player, someone leaves a leg out, Agger sees it, falls to the ground. Free kick in a dangerous area.

Did it against Zenit and Wigan as well.

10 goals is quite impressive for a central defender isn't it?

How many has Brave John Terry scored?

Although I suppose it depends how many games he played

I'll shut up

Im just amazed he scored 10 goals
When I saw the name of the video 'Agger's 10 greatest goals' I more or less thought they should've just named it; Agger's 10 goals. Haven't checked but I doubt he scored much more than that.

EDIT: Just checked it says 14 goals on LFCHistory. Kinda cheap not to include the last four..

66 goals in around 686 matches (he must feel tired.. ). Agger is 14 in 212. So yeah Terry got a better rate.

Yeah but I used Terry as best guess for a CB who did score quite a few, given his quality in the air and also good technique

So it's still pretty decent isn't it?
It's decent I guess but he certainly did not reach the figures I was hoping he would to be honest. Thought he be more influential in front of goal and apart from the two belters at the start of his Liverpool career he didn't score any screamers either. He was a penalty taker for Denmark so it's not completely comparable but he scored 12 in 72 games at Int. Level which is more like it goals/games ratio-like.

*Skrtel actually got 18 for us (in 320) which is also very decent - had that one insane season where he scored.. 7, was it?

Not a goal but loved it when he smashed Torres on his return to Anfield. Was a proper take that you cunt smash.

I loved the goal against Wolves. Kop End, injury time winner and it pushed us towards CL qualification.
Not the best but it was just such a good moment.

Most memorable Hyypia goals (without watching the vid):
Goal against Juve
Goal against Spurs

Normally, when I'm done masturbating the various browser tabs are a row of pure shame. I close them quickly with a sense of real disgust.

I wouldnt dream of exposing this vulnerable and ugliest part of my sexuality. I applaud your sharing this khl.

Really? I feel really proud of my selection.

A striker would be proud of the variety of goals in that compilation: bullet headers, glancing headers. little ticklers over the goalline and booming shots with either foot. Basically Sami was unstoppable if he got his head to a high ball properly. On some of those goals nobody bothered even to try and mark him.

Sami Hyypiä YNWA.
