Would be amazing. Hopefully the Klopp factor and Matip persuades him to join if we have made an offer.
 
Yeah, will be tough beating Juventus, City and possibly even Roma but hopefully we'll get it done. Would be a great signing.
I like the fact that he's a quite big player for a left back. 183 cm and tough. We need that.
 
A few weeks ago he said he'd make a decision with the next 3-4 weeks. At the time I seriously believe he was looking at which teams would be in the CL + which team he'd get into the LB slot every week, so that's why it's been whittled down to 5 or 6. It's no secret that City are also on the lookout for a new LB, so it will be tough to get this one over the line.
 
We can match Juve on salary and guarantee him 1st team football. We're arguably the most exciting team in Europe and we have a manager that speaks German. City can't guarantee him 1st team footballs, and Serie A is dull!
 
Juventus are extremely good at closing these kinds of deals. Not only because of a brilliant sporting director, but also the fact that they'll be fighting for titles every season.

Fighting? They're guaranteed to win the title. It's a boring league where many stadiums are half empty.

"Titles". Juventus stadium is boss though. Its not that boring anymore and Inter and Milan will invest heavily this summer.
 
Seems to have had a good season but being a free transfer, we wont be the only suitors.
 
City have no good fullbacks so his playing time will be guaranteed there also.

If all these clubs are seriously interested, surely we have next to no chance of getting this guy.
