Runners, tell me why I'm shit at running....

Decided I'm gona try and run erryday, did about 3 miles a few days ago, the next day my calves were fucked but felt fine when i was running but a blister made me stop about half way, today i cant do a fuckin thing, mostly cause of my calves. Am I just shit? is it better to push through the pain or to let my legs recover?
