He doesn't seem to getting any medialoving this season for what he's achieving on the pitch, 37 goals in 42 games this season.

Damn impressive, I don't know how many assists he's got on top of those goals but he cant be too far behind Messi.

All I've heard this season is messi this, Bale that. The latter of which cant hold a light to the greasy twats form this season.

27 goals in 26 La Liga games
7 goals in 6 cup games
3 goals in 2 Super Cup games
8 goals in 8 CL games

For a total of 45 goals in 42 appearances (not to mention his 21 assists).

As i said in my post Ltw, I wasnt disputing Messi being the best but more the fact that the zero coverage of Ronaldos impressive rate lead to my surprise when I read this morning and saw how impressive it was.

No.

He's direct and nippy and a dangerous player but all this he's the best player in the world bollocks floating about now. It was bad enough reading Rush talk about how the last time the best player on the pitch in a England-Wales match was welsh was back in his day, bollocks.

No chance of Inter bidding £40m for him this summer.

His stock went sky high after that Inter Milan performance which in insolation was fantastic. I know he has only one assist in the league this season but he is still a great player. He is still young and can only get better. I would love him on our left.

I had to laugh when a Sky reporter asked VDV after the Inter game if Bale was the best player he has played with. Oh dear god.

He is over hyped and prob doesnt warrant his 40mil price tag that is hanging over his head but he is a glorious runner, young and would improve any team IMO.
 
IMO the inter goaly could have saved at least one of those Bale goals....

He is athletic and has a good shot.

Not much more to add to that.
 
I think he's a good player, no doubt about that. Strong, fast, direct, pacey and has a good cross on him.
But the potential to be one of the best players in the world, 50 mill £ value and the new Messi hype from the Spurs fans is waaaay over the top imho.

Besides the two games against Inter he hasn't done that much this season, and he's struggled after Christmas.
Injuries can be his curse for the rest of his career. Injured again yesterday.

Total of 37 goals and 12 assists in 42 appearances for Madrid

Very impressive, but people usually don't pay attention to runners-up and, clearly, Messi this year has been even better. I would give Ronaldo the title of the best human player in the world. Messi is from another planet.
 
Except Ronaldo's done it in the EPL as well. There's a case for saying that he's better than Messi.
 
Mishra, I'm one of Ronaldos biggest fans but there is no case at all to say he's better than Messi.
 
In my opinion this is why Messi is the better player. I have never seen him do this. Not once.
