Is anyone else sick to the back teeth of Celtic/Spurs fans saying Rafa ruined him/LFC ruined him?

He played nearly every game ffs and missed a hatful of chances and contributed zero in many of these matches.

I'm pissed off Rafa nver kept hold of Crouch and Bellamy but Robbie Keane? Give me a break, he was a massive flop.

I think his situation here was a shame and Rafa definitely could have handled him better but Robbie certainly didn't help his own cause.

I miss Bellers. To the point I will bring him up in random threads just because. He is a good player but more importantly he's a meatatarian and has great diary entries. Viva Bellend.

I am not quite sure it is as simplistic as that Frank, I don't think he was great for us, but was never going to get the chance to show that he could be.
In most of these games he played for us he was played out of position and generally fucked about from pillar to post.
If you wanted to fuck a player up, you could not have done it better than Rafa if you tried.
Although I must say I have not heard any Celtic or Spurs fans making the accusation

To be honest, we should have bought someone else. Robbie Keane wasn't the right answer, and Rafa realized this after a while.

I don't think Rafa helped matters but I don't think he ruined Keane either (and like Vlad I haven't heard the accusation levelled either)

Keane hasn't ever taken care of himself the way he needed to, and when you look at him now he's even slower and weaker than he was last year with us. He's so far past it physically that I don't think he's up to Premiership level anymore.

Agree with that.

Are you saying Keano's fond of the booze mate? lol

Fuck Celtic and Spurs. Is the damage his signing did to our club not enough for them?

First i heard of it anyway.

I'm not saying he's a dipso but he's not the type to stay in and watch a movie.

I remember I saw him out last season after we drew with Villa nil nil. What made it even more outrageous was that it was an evening game (I think) and in Birmingham. He must have rushed back for it. He was leathered.

robbie keane was argubaly be biggest off-field factor in costing us the title when we had the best chance to win it - his very name makes depresses me.

How's he doing for Celtic, anyone?

He's scored quite a few goals already.

but then again Rod Wallace, John Hartson and a host of other mediocre Premiership strikers managed to do the same.

Feel a little for Robbie Keane. Been on a down after his big money move to us didn't work out.

"He could sit here and take his wages but that's not him. He wants to play football. He trains hard, works hard every day, he's shown a great attitude.

"And probably the hardest decision I had to make was last week: I couldn't get him on the bench. It wasn't easy when you respect somebody and what a good player he is or has been. It was hard because he's still a good player."

Redknapp will not consider another loan for Keane when the January transfer window reopens, saying any move would need to be permanent.

"Whoever offers the biggest fee will, I suppose, be the answer in January," said Redknapp, who added he knew nothing of the Whitecaps' interest. He also denied trying to bring Emmanuel Adebayor to White Hart Lane, claiming the Manchester City striker's wages are too high.
