I like the idea of them, I think I would probably want to put flowers in a spot where a friend or relative had been killed, but at the same time I find these really distracting when I'm driving. I guess it's just because I'm a bit nosey. I like to have a good look at the flowers and try to read the name on the card etc. and wonder who the person was and what happened. I think it's a little dangerous as I do find myself slowing down and taking my eyes off the road to look, especially when there's a lot there, like many flowers and teddies and cards and pictures.
