It almost seemed like they are finding ways to stop us from winning big trophies. Be it Champs League or the Premier League title, instead of supporting and awarding success, English league seemed to find it more fun to punish their teams with headaches they don't need. And some asked why Liverpool supporters finding it hard to support England.

Now now no need to go all bluefume here.

The break works in our favour because it gives time for Fabinho, Lovren and Matip to recover. If those three are back I'm sure we can handle the games. With Minamino and Elliot in, we have enough cover for the front three. Our midfield is stacked.

If we come into real form those 2-3 weeks the league will really feel the pain.
 
Not only that but it's actually in our favour. The lads get a 2 week rest and can then get back into the groove vs. Norwich before Atletico. We know how it's gone with too long a lay off. And the rest of the month is nicely staggered as it is.
 
The fact that a winter break is staggered, so that clubs avail of it at different times, is in itself staggering.
