Time for the annual relegation raid thread.

So anyone worth our time?

Fulham: No one really. The best of the bunch would be Lookman.

West Brom: Pereira. Just fucking sign him and play him behind the striker.

Sheffield U: No one. Unless we need a few Scousers for the sake of it.

If I had to choose 1 from Fulham, it'll be Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.

Matheus Pereira can definitely contribute more than the likes of Shaqiri or even Ox.

Think for Sheff Utd, if there's anyone we're eyeing, it'll be their younger players (perhaps with loan back) like Kyron Gordon.

I wonder if we could get Brewser back for a fraction of what we sold him for, if Klopp rates him.

On a serious note, I'm sure we were linked on various occasions to Sander Berge, I wonder if he would be a target.
Lookman and Anguissa at Fulham look to have something about them.
I don't think he's starter material but if we wanted a decent back up keeper then we could do worse than trying to get one of Johnstone or Ramsdale. Not sure the former would take on being a bench warmer after such a good season.

Sander Berge is super slow especially on the turn. Don't rate him.

Pereira and Anguissa are probably the standouts, though I doubt we'll be in for either.

I’ll trot out the old cliche.

What the fuck are we doing looking at players from shit teams that got relegated.

That’s what Everton should aspire to.

That Jebbison kid (17) that scored for Sheff Utd against the Bitters yesterday, is wanted by Bayern and Dortmund. Maybe that could be something.

I'd go for Perreira purely based on the numbers, and he's not been relegated, but Bissouma.

Depending on fee it could be a good deal to replace Shaqiri with Pereira.
Bissouma is an obvious YES.

Dreamie is only ever right when he’s so wrong he affects space and time to such an extent reality has to realign itself to stop the universe exploding - it’s like re-setting the matrix.
Or you could have trotted out the old cliche.

'Even a broken clock is right twice a day'.

If it was cliches we were after.

If Brewster has a manager who trusts him, he should be able to excel next season in the Championship though.

Brighton are not going to be relegated, but I hope Edwards has now added Graham Potter to our shortlist of managerial candidates for 2022.

Yeah, saw that.
He's a talented boy and could be a good backup player for us imo.
We've seen the drop off in quality from 1st teamers to backups this season so, depending on what he'll be available for in the summer, I think he's worth a punt.

I feel the same way about Rafinha at Leeds. Good backup for the front 3 and playing under Bielsa he shouldn't have problems adapting to our pressing game
